Take a moment to describe the main character of your book. Introduce him/her to the blog. How do you envision him/her? What physical characteristics does he/she possess? What does he/she use for motivation in your book? How does he/she interact with those around him/her? What does your main character add to the story? If this person truly existed in your world, would you hang out with him/her? Would you like him/her?
Adrienne is the main character of my novel. She is a single mother who is trying to raise three teenagers. She is trying her best to get through these difficult times. Adrienne's ex husband left her because he was cheating with another young women the whole time. Adrienne's friend owns a hotel in Rodanthe and she is put in charge of the hotel for a little while. I feel like Adrienne is a hard working women who tries her best and doesn't give up. I believe that she is a great person. I think I would want to hang with her and try to be there for her during these difficult times.

DeleteThe main character in my book is Chris Kyle. He is a guy who grew up on the ranch, so he is built big and tough, and wants to fulfill his dream of being in the army. For motivation, he uses when people say he isn't strong enough, or tough enough, to be in the SEALs. He powers through any obstacle and proves that he is tough enough. Overall he seems like a good guy, easy to get along with, so I would hang with him

DeleteIn my book the main character is Lara Jean, a teen girl going into her junior year of high school with also having to deal with her younger sister and older sister and dad. her mom died when she was 9, Lara Jean is a hard worker and is kind of good at problem solving. if Lara Jean existed in my world i would love to hang out with her, she seems to have the same hobbies as me and i think we would really get along.

DeleteI am reading the book, "If I Stay", by Gayle Forman. The character Mia is the main character of the book and I picture her as a innocent girl who does nothing wrong. She uses motivation for the book because it starts off a little boring but by page 20 there's already something big that happens, her family gets in a car accident. She describes the car accident so well by saying how everyone was flung out of the vehicle. She saw her parents laying there dead but she just thought they were knocked out. When she gets to the hospital she over hears the nurses that her parents have passed away at the scene. If Mia went to my school, yes I would be her friend because I feel bad for her after that horrible accident she has like nobody.

DeleteI am going to talk about the main character and her name is Hazel. Hazel is a sixteen ear old girl fighting thyroid cancer and she has oxygen hooked up to her. She goes to support groups with kids who have problems and the can share their thoughts with each other. Hazel never tires to give u and she has her mind set on going to Amesterdam with her friend Augusts. Hazel keeps a lot of thoughts to herself and she is an independent person but yet likes to interact with others. I would probably be friends with Hazel if she was in my wold because she seems like a chill person and shes easy going, I feel like we would get along together very well.

DeleteGarrett Durrell is the main character of my novel. Garrett is a teenager who is being taken to a camp for troubled teens. His parents had payed four thousand dollars for him to go to camp for troubled teens because he was not going to school, he was taking drugs, steeling money from others and beating up his mother. His parents didn't know what was going through garretts' mind, they says he use to get A's. He was a kid everyone would hang out with but now he changed so it would not be the best to be around. So far my novel has been really interesting.

DeleteI am reading “Carrie” by Stephen King. The main character in my book is Carrie White. She is a teenager attending High School. But Carrie is not an ordinary High school student, she has telekinetic powers, that means can move things through her thoughts. She gets bullied for being different from the rest of the students. Because of that she is very shy and doesn’t talk a lot. Not only is she being bullied at school, but Carrie’s very religious mom also abuses her at home. In the book Carrie has blond hair and pale skin. The title of the book gives away that the story is all about the protagonist Carrie. She basically adds the whole story to the book. Because I have seen the movie “Carrie” before, I already know that Carrie will add the drama to the story. If Carrie existed I would not hang out with her. I would be scared that she could hurt me with her telekinetic powers. So I wouldn’t like her because I would be scared of her.

DeleteI have seen part of that movie! I got too scared to watch the whole thing but I agree with you I would not want to hang out with her either because she is very scary. I would not be like the other kids and bully her though because I would also be afraid that she could hurt me.
DeleteIn No Country For Old Men, there are three main characters. One of the three is loner Llewelyn Moss. Moss is a young, slim, and married veteran in his 30's. In this book, Moss discovers a satchel containing two million dollars from the site of a drug deal gone wrong. When he takes the money, he undergoes a course of survival when the drug dealers and a hit man, Anton Chigurh, who is another one of the three main characters, found out it was Moss who recovered the money. Moss uses his knowledge of weaponry, his decision-making process, and his survival skills he acquired from his experience from Vietnam to find a way out of this predicament. When it comes to other people, Moss is a man who doesn't sugarcoat anything about anything. What he adds to this book is his point of view of the situation, as the book also follows the point of view from Chigurh and the point of view of an old Texas county sheriff, Ed Tom Bell, who is the other main character that tries to help resolve the situation. I don't think I could be friends with Moss because of how he isn't that very of a social person, and that he can be a little bitter sometimes.

DeleteThe main character in my book is named Lucy she is a teen aged girl with black, curly hair and grey eyes. She uses the need to survive and help her friends for motivation. She usually interacts well with others except for Deb who is jealous of Lucy because Aidan like her. If she existed in the real world i think i wouldn't relate well with her, but i'd be nice to her.
ReplyDeleteIn my book, Deep Zone, the main character is Ty Lewis. He is the younger brother of a famous NFL rookie who plays for the New York Jets. Ty is also a very talented wide receiver but is still in high school. Everyone is always talking about how he has big hands like his brother that will one day make him an NFL star like his brother. He is not very big but is extremely fast so he uses that to his advantage. His motivation through out everything he does is his big brother. Thane is the only family member he has left because their parents were killed in a car accident. Ty is always interacting with other football players because that is what him and his brother enjoy. Without Ty, the book wouldn't be the same. It tells of the story of how he is making his way to a 7 on 7 tournament that will be played before the super bowl. If Ty went to our school, I could see myself being friends with him because he seems like a like able person. He doesn't really hangout with anyone except his brother since his parents died though.
ReplyDeleteMy main character Stefan is a teenager who is living with his mom and his younger brother. I envision him as not someone big or tall, around advantage height and weight. For the first half of the book he main motivation was getting through the filming of a movie he was in and getting the money for his family. But then it turns in all out survival when an avalanche hit the lodge and blocked their way from getting help. Stefan doesn't really act out well with others and usually never was on the winning side of things until the avalanche happens. If Stefan was a real person i wouldn't mind being friends with him because he is easy going and doesn't really do anything bad.
ReplyDeleteThe main character in my book is Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master. Skywalker is looked at as a God and a hero in the books and even in real life. Probably one of the biggest influences on the world. Luke Skywalker has nothing but Good in his body, he defeated the empire and continues to help lead the rebellion to keep the galaxy under peace and harmony. If he was real, theirs no doubt i would hang out with him, He's Luke Skywalker!

DeleteI am reading the book, Max. The main character is Justin, his brother Kyle recently died in the marines. Kyle had this dog he trained, Max. They did everything together, eat, sleep, and fought. When Max lost Kyle he just gave up, if anyone went near Max, he went crazy and fought everyone. Max could no longer serve because gunshots and explosions put him in a panic. They were going to put Max down, but then they found Justin, he was the only one that Max would listen to because he smelled and acted like Kyle. So Justin and his mom and dad took Max in because that is the only part they have left of Kyle. I would hangout with Justin and Max because they both lost a lot, with losing Kyle.
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter is the main character in my book. I envision him as a very thin boy with messy black hair and big glasses. I also envision a scar on his forehead in the shape of a lightning bolt he got from when Voldemort tried to kill him as a baby. I think what motivates Harry the most in my book is finding out more about how and why his parents were killed. All of his life until now his Aunt and Uncle he has been living with have kept the truth from him. If Harry was a real person I would want to be his friend if I was a wizard but if I was not a wizard like him I don’t know if I would be friends with him because he always talked about the weird things that happened around him. Harry is great as a main character for a book like this because all of the wizard world stuff is new for him so the reader can easily learn right along with him.

DeleteThe main character in The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks is a woman named Denise. Denise is a mother of a 4 year old boy, and I picture her with short brown hair, younger, and medium height. Denise is super nice to everyone around her, especially for going through what she does. Denise has no family whats so ever besides her 4 year old son with a speech problem who she loves very much. Denise helps him get better everyday and is extremely patient with him. Denise is motivated everyday by her son to be a better mom and help her son grow. She used to be an elementary teacher, but ever since she had Kyle she is a stay at home mom but misses her job very much. Denise decided to stay at home because she could not afford day care and she was the only one around that could ever take care of kyle because she has no other family. Denise makes the story very interesting and makes you be grateful for everyone you have in your life. If Denise existed in real life I wouldn't hang out with her for fun because of our age difference, but I would definitely like to know her.

DeleteIn the book American Sniper the main character is Chris Kyle. I envision him as a tall very strong man. He has a lot of muscle on all of his body and a good beard going.He uses his country as his motivation. He wants to protect and serve his country and thats what makes him work so hard to become a Seal. He interacts with the people around him in a very friendly matter but he also stern when he needs to be and treats everyone how he believes they should be treated. Chris is telling the story because it is his story. He is telling us what has happened to him and what his experience in the military was like. If I could I would defiantly sit down and talk to him and get to know him to see what he was like.

DeleteThe main character of my book is a guy named Jeremy. He lives in New York City and is a journalist. He has to travel a lot for his job and is really never home. He was married once but with him never being home and they were not able to start a family they ended up getting a divorce. I picture Jeremy as a tall, muscular, and handsome man. His family is very wealthy and he inheriting some of that money so he is wealthy as well. In the book his attitude can sometimes be rude, especially at first he gives off a bad impression. Right now he is doing an article in a small town far away from home. He just met a girl and they are starting to fall in love. He has to choose if he wants to stay in this small town and stay with the girl or go back to his life alone with what he is comfortable with. If he was here I am not sure if we would be friends or not, he likes to live in the city and that is not the life style I live. Also he is super rich and lives on the high end of life and that is not something that I do, so I am not sure if I would know him or not.

DeleteThe main character in Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief is Percy Jackson. He is in sixth grade, and is going to a Yancy Academy, a school for troubled kids in New York. He has gone to six different schools in six years. He just found out he is a half-blood, but doesn't know who his dad is yet. He is trying to figure out who he is, and is now at a camp for half-bloods. He has dark black hair, and can control water. He keeps having strange thing happen to him due to monsters trying to attack him. I think it would be cool to get to know him if he was a real person.

Carlos is the type of kid who gets into a lot of trouble and he tends to get himself stuck into situations that he cant handle, kiara is a girl who likes to be in school ans doesn't get into any trouble, she is in extra classes and has very good grade's.

DeleteThe main character in my book is Amir. He is a very smart young kid but also kind of sensitive. His father is a business man in Kabul. I envision him as a skinny teenage boy. He uses Hassan for motivation in the book because Hassan gets all of Amir's fathers affection and Amir wants to please his father and be better than Hassan. He always gets in fights with Hassan because he is a little jealous of the relationship Hassan has with his father. Amir adds excitement into the story. I prolly wouldn't hang out with him or like him very much.

DeleteCharlie St. Cloud is the main character in the book Charlie St. Cloud. Charlie works in the cemetery were his brother Sam is buried. Charlie visits Sam every night and likes to be alone for the most part. Charlie stumbles across Tess who is visiting her father in the cemetery and they soon hit it off. Charlie is very outgoing once he opens up to someone and can be very charming. Charlie posses a bright eyed, curly brown haired guy that only wants the best for his brother Sam. Charlie's motivation comes from his little brother Sam because right before Sam died Charlie promised that he would never leave Sam. Charlie can be shy at first but once he gets to know other he is very open and friendly with them. Charlie adds suspicion to my novel because of the little things he does to be with his brother. If Charlie existed in real life I think he could be a good friend that you could go to with your problems, he would be very liked by many.

DeleteThe main characters name in my book is Ronan Chantry. So far Ronan has no family because they were all killed in a house fire buy the native Americans and he now is going on a bounty hunt after these natives. I seen him as a tall skinny guy that wants to find the natives and get revenge back on them for killing his family. He gets along with everybody in town and will do anything for the people that are struggling with something in their daily lives.

DeleteThe main character in the book night is Elie Wiesel, Elie is teenager in the book and seemed to be a very observant kid like when they were in the cattle car he described everything going on in there and seemed to care about other people before he cared for himself. He wanted to help the people when they were taken by the police. I picture Elie as a young and smart kid. Elie interacts with other people buy helping them and trying to give the young kids water and food when the police were taking them. I would hang out with Elie because i would ask him more stuff about the holocaust because it would be a lot better to be able to listen to him talk about it rather then reading it.

Yossi is from Israel and has a adventurous personality. he mainly sits back and takes back what is going on. he seems like he gets along with everyone he meets just fine. i feel like if i met him in real life i would probably hang out with him. the book does not go into much detail on what Yossi looks like but i imagine him to look like a middle eastern with darker skin and hair.

DeleteTravis is the main character in my book. Travis is described as a single man who is very attractive. A new girl moves next door and Travis has his eye on her. He is very nice to her and takes her out to experience new things since shes new to town. I see Travis as a very nice and sincere guy. He is always trying his best to make sure Gabby is having fun and enjoying her new town. Travis is a big part of the story and it would be so different without him. If he was real I think he would be a really cool guy.

DeleteThe main character in the book, The Color Purple, is Celie. Celie is quiet and does whatever anybody tells her to especially what Mr._____ says, her husband, whom is not in love with her, nor is she. Celie has no power over anything or anybody. Celie is described by her dad, " She ugly. He say. But she ain't no stranger to hard worker and she can clean. And God done fixed her. You can do everything just like you want to and she ain't gonna make you feed it or clothe it." Celie uses Shug Avery as her motivation. Shug Avery is singer, a singer who everyone likes by the way she moves, dresses, and sings. Celie looks up to her wishing she could be like her and also be with her. Celie doesn't really interact with people unless they speak to her. The only people who are really close to her and have a nice conversation are Shug Avery, Nettie- her sister, and Harpo- her step-son. The main character adds everything the book needs to be the book it is. Without her point of view it wouldn't be the same. If Celie existed in this world I would be her friend because she has a sense of humor that she hides but shows to the people who interact with her the most.
ReplyDeleteThe main character in my book is Charlie, he is a shy and quiet kid and doesn't talk to many people ever since he started high school and after his best friend killed himself. Charlie is short, dark brown hair and green eyes. He writes letters to a friend telling him what happens in his everyday life and shares things that happen to him. Charlie met two seniors at a football game and started hanging out with them around school and after school,and he felt like he fit in with everyone. I would hang out with him and help him open up more to people and become less quiet.

Shes involed in alot of activites and clubs at school. i would with her because i feel like i would get along with her well, from loving soccer and just wanting to get involed and try new things.
